Sukhpreet Kaur is the Senior Executive (Urban Planning & Sustainability) at Sycom Projects Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Her current work focuses on waste management, water management, sanitation, water security and nature-based solutions to address long term risk in Indian cities, social and environmental monitoring and evaluation of metro rail projects. Her work entails field surveys, research, critical analysis, monitoring and evaluation of environment and social projects, communication, capacity building and coordination of the day-to-day operation for the projects. She is currently acting as the Associate Editor for Sycom’s Green letter. Sukhpreet is an Urban Planner by profession and motivated towards creating better and sustainable cities. She did her Master’s in Planning with specialization in Urban Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. During her free time, Sukhpreet enjoys photography, travelling and cooking. She is fond of adventures and loves to explore new places, cultures and cuisines.
